Cai Jianrong:

Dean of Agricultural Products Processing Engineering Research Institute.

Born in 1966, Ph.D., professor of Jiangsu University. In 2004, he went to the University of Hannover, Germany for further study.

Research areas

Research on rapid non-destructive testing technology of food and agricultural products

quality. The main technologies include: color imaging technology, hyperspectral imaging

technology, infrared thermal imaging technology, X-ray imaging technology, light field

imaging technology, acoustic detection technology and electrochemical detection technology, etc.;

Intelligent food detection and creation of new equipment.

Scientific Achievements and Awards

As the main contributor, he won 1 National Invention Award, 6 provincial and ministerial

first prizes, and 3 second prizes.
