Prof Benu Adhikari, the lead-scientist of food science in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT), the associate editor of Drying Technology and Sustainable Food Technology visited Jiangsu University on Oct.29, 2023. Prof Haile Ma hosted the collaboration meeting at meeting room 302 in the School of Food and Biological Engineering. This meeting was also opened to young teachers and postgraduate students.

Prof. Benu adhikari introduced the school features, the discipline settings, the cooperative education etc. of RMIT. He also explained the advanced researches carried out in RMIT. Prof Haile Ma warmly welcome the visit of Prof Benu and then showed the teaching & research platforms in the school. The commercialized food product as the independent research outputs of school of food and biological engineering was also presented to the visiting team.

Prof Benu adhikari further visited the industrial research center that lead by Jiangsu University. He was impressed by the internationally advanced fundamental research, the industrial scale levels and the Industry-University-Institute cooperation networks built through Jiangsu University. After the visiting, Prof. Benu Adhikari and Prof Haile Ma discussed the possible international collaborations between RMIT and Jiangsu University.
